Free until the end of the year.
We run the free trial for one reason: the features you suggest in it are the ones we build first. Grid is for Montessori schools and mainstream classrooms alike.
What we give
- Full access free until 31 January 2027
- Training and support for the whole free trial
- Development as we go, shipped continuously
- No obligation to continue after the new year
What we need
- The tool used for real, not once a month
- A short call once a month about what is not working
- The chance to ask when something breaks
- Optional consent to name your school as a reference
The free trial is already running. You can join at any time, and onboarding a new school takes up to a week.
After the free period ends on 31 January 2027, the price is EUR 1.60 per student per month.
What schools ask
Does artificial intelligence write the feedback instead of the teacher?
No. The tool drafts the text from what you have written down yourself and links every sentence to a specific observation. If you record nothing, nothing is created. Deciding what is true about a child stays with you.
How long does one observation take?
Recording an observation is short: ten seconds, not ten minutes. If it took long, nobody would do it.
How much does it cost?
The free trial of Amosia Grid costs nothing until 31 January 2027. After that, the price is EUR 1.60 per student per month.
What about students' personal data?
The school is the controller, Amosia Labs the processor under Article 28 GDPR. Signing the data processing agreement is a condition for starting the free trial. Until then the app holds no student data.
What if the school decides to stop?
Notice is one month, and you get an export of your data when you leave. There is no obligation to continue after the new year.
Do we have to adopt someone else's curriculum structure?
No. The curriculum is yours. You enter the lessons your class will work through.
Is the data backed up?
Yes. Data is backed up regularly, backups are encrypted and their rotation cycle does not exceed 30 days.
Is the system also suitable for Montessori kindergartens?
Yes. Daily observations can be recorded for preschool children too, and the system intelligently evaluates them for further use.
We are switching from another system. How do we do it?
The system supports bulk import of curriculum outlines, for example from Transparent Classroom or another environment. We prepare the import with you during onboarding, and you can export all your data just as easily when you leave.
Where is the data stored?
The application and its encrypted backups run on servers in the European Union. Student data never leaves the European area and is not used to train AI models.
How does the tool approach assessment?
From the observations a teacher records during the year, it puts together source material for narrative feedback. The tool does not assess on its own. It assigns no grade and no level and makes no decision about a child, which is in line with the European regulation on artificial intelligence (AI Act). The teacher always reviews and approves the final wording.
